About Nikita
I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, and I’ve been working in physiotherapy since 2017. I have experience across private practice, sports physiotherapy and Pilates, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and long-term conditions.
I particularly enjoy helping people with spinal pain, tendinopathies, soft tissue injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. My approach is holistic, looking at the whole person rather than just the area causing pain.
I start with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, lifestyle and goals, followed by a physical assessment. From there, we’ll agree on a personalised treatment plan, which may include exercise, Pilates, manual therapy, dry needling or shockwave therapy.
My goal is to help you improve your strength, mobility and confidence so you can return to the sports, hobbies, work and activities you enjoy.
I focus my treatment on addressing the patients goals, while improving hollistic functional capacity in order to address the presenting issue at hand while preventing it from reoccuring in the future

Which conditions do you treat most often?
I mostly work with indivudals presenting with musculoskeletal related pain, especially relating to the spine (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine), overuse injuries such as tendinopathies, indivudals seeking rehabiliation for soft tissue injuries, and people looking to optimise their mobility and functional capacity to prevent injury and continue participating in their sports and hobbies
What happens at a first appointment with you?
Initial consultations start with a subjective examination/verbal conversation to gain a history of the presentation adn to discuss expectations and goals, followed by a physical examination generally based off the SFMA model where appropriate (a hollistic movement assessment). This will help to guide which treatment approach to take which will be discuss and agreed upon between both mysefl and the client, then treatment/management will be provided in the first session whether that involves advice, manual therapy, or active theapy – usually a combination of all of the above.
What is your approach to treatment?
I focus my treatment on addressing the patients goals, while improving hollistic functional capacity in order to address the presenting issue at hand while preventing it from reoccuring in the future
