Tennis elbow, medically known as lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that affects the tendons on the outside of the elbow.
It develops when repetitive gripping, lifting, typing or wrist movements overload the tendon attachment. Although commonly associated with racquet sports, it is also common in office workers, tradespeople and anyone performing repetitive upper limb activities.
